The "Infinity Gauntlet" To Be Introduced In #Thor Film?

#TalkNerdyToMeLover's Awesome Applesauce: Charles Quevedo

Wow, my head is literally going to explode with finding out all these details for Marvel Studio's three big upcoming films: "Captain America:The First Avenger", "Thor", and "The Avengers".

I just discovered from friends on Twitter that the "Infinity Gauntlet" may be introduced in the "Thor" film.  A golden glove encrusted with gems was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2010 and was rumored to be the actual set prop for the film.  If this is true, then the whole "Captain America-Thor-Avengers" connection just got MORE awesome!

In the comics, the "Infinity Gauntlet" is a glove that was designed to hold six "soul gems" (better known as the "Infinity Gems") and has the power to make its wearer nearly invincible.  With the reality-bending "Cosmic Cube" rumored to be introduced in "Captain America: The First Avenger", the introduction of another Marvel Universe power artifact connecting all three Marvel films is slightly overwhelming for this comic nerd.

How the "Infinity Gauntlet" exactly connects to "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "The Avengers" is unknown, but the rumors are running rampant among comic fans that it may be the main weapon to be used either by Thor's arch enemy "Loki" or the mutant Titanian Eternal, "Thanos", against our heroes in "The Avengers" filmNothing is officially confirmed.  For now, everything is just a guessing game.
