YESSSSSSSSS. So, yesterday I TOTALLY got a SpiritHood! Yes yes yes yes, it is so freaking awesome and I have to say I look absolutely adorable in it. 

So, Jen and I went to downtown Los Angeles to meet up with the awesome peeps from SpiritHoods. Queue foursquare check-in:

First off I have to say that all of the people that work at SpiritHoods are awesome and unapologetically so. Their vibe is just so fun. I loved being in their office. Their product.... oh man... is amazing! You guys really need to go check out their site and poke around the shop. The hoods are super sexy. Take some time to read the descriptions of the animals to find one that fits your personality. I chose the brown bear. Here's me in my SpiritHood.

Ahhhhhh, I love it. Also, the awesome peeps at SpiritHoods hooked us up with some extras to lend out when we go on our nerdy adventures. Yeaaaaaaah! What's up guys? It's been a little while since I've posted one of these. I've been totally submerged in World of Warcraft and also trying to balance one of my favorite Xbox 360 games, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. Goodness, I barely have any time for anything else. I did get an awesome new SpiritHood. Omg, it's the bestest thing in the whole wide world, but I'll probably do a separate post about that. The job hunt is still on, but I'm totally making progress. I'm going to find an awesome new job. Down to business. For those of you that don't know the rules, here's how it works: I post a few pictures and if you laugh, you lose. Holy crap. I was sitting here at Coffee Bean in Century City just browsing Mashable when I came across this amazing article: The 10 Most Powerful Tweets of 2010. I shit you not when I say that this article is moving. It really goes to show you how powerful social media is. From political campaigns to literally saving lives, social media has change the world we live in forever. I know there are a lot of skeptics out there, but you really have to try it before you judge. The thing about social media is it relates to you how you want it to relate to you. I know I'm preaching to the choir here. It's just so amazing. Let me share one of the top 10 tweets with you:

@maniacalmorgan's job hunt begins

Hello boys and girls of Los Angeles. I am calling on you for a favor. I need a new job that allows me to be unapologetically awesome.

I've been working a customer service job for the past four years and it worked for me. I've met lots of cool people and made some great connections. I stand before you as Co-Editor of talknerdytomelover.com because of this job. As a caterpillar makes its transformation into a butterfly, I am in need of that change. My current job no longer satisfies my thirst for awesomeness. I can be so much more given the proper medium. I need to be challeneged and pushed in order for me to grow.

Here's what you need to know about me:

I have a high energy personality. I am happy and eager to learn everything I can. I am a fast learner and I'm positive that there isn't anything I can't do. Give me a month and a half, I could learn open heart surgery (although the blood would make me a bit queezy). I love people! I love to meet and talk to new people and act as a "social butterfly." I'm very much an outside the box thinker and love to put my brain to work. I'm awesome and can make you and your company that much better.


What I'm looking for:

I have a great understanding of social media and marketing and would be awesome at jobs entailing both. I'd also make an awesome personal assistant. I have an attention to detail that would make someone's life a million times easier. I'm open to try out anything, as long as it allows me to be awesome.

World of Warcraft is a feeling...

Oh. Em. Gee. Where oh where has @maniacalmorgan gone? Oh, you haven't heard? The latest expansion of World of Warcraft called Cataclysm was unleashed upon the world 12/7/2010 and I was subsequently sucked in. Eaten alive you could say. 

Let's put this in perspective. WoW just had its 6th anniversary. Yay, happy birthday. I have been playing WoW for 5 1/2 years. Yep, I've been playing for a long freaking time. I look back at all the time spent playing the game. Did I accomplish anything? Not particularly, but I did have fun. Isn't that what life is all about? Having fun? Right, so I've been playing the latest expansion. I have to level my character from 80 to 85. Only five levels, but man... they are long ass levels. 

So, I still love you guys. Once the grind to 85 is over, I'll be back on a more regular basis. Feel free to add me on battlenet if you want to chat with me. I'm no scrub.
