iTunes algorithm

Has anyone figured out the algorithm for shuffle on iTunes? This is driving me absolutely insane. It plays the same hundred songs over, and over again .. yet misses the other THOUSAND!!!

Someone has to know something about this ... discuss here.
My OCD thanks you in advance.
