So this is how #Facebook is doing it?!: Email Notifications

I was WONDERING how Marky Mark was going to get around the annoying little red email notifications. (See this article to know what I'm talking about. It was pivotal in understanding the success of the redesign.)


DUDE! Check out what Facebook is doing!?



He took the annoying little red indicator, and turned it into a kind reminder in the suggested navigation. That's like taking an annoyingly loud alarm clock, and turning it into one of those soft seductive "good morning" whispers. Major kudos, Mark!!! Wayy to make those 2 million peeps happy about not having to scroll through the emails just to erase the red reminder. Now only if we can apply the same rule to all the third party mobile apps. Here's to wishful thinking!! WAHOO!!! Keep up the awesome work, el Senor Zuckerberg.
