DUDE!!! 355,000 downloads of the Justin.TV iPhone app in the first week!!! That's nuts. Ustream had 113,000 in 24 hours back in January ... however, AGAIN guys ... this is what I've been saying ...
This stuff is all fine and dandy, but I have YET to bump into a SINGLE. OTHER. LIFECASTER USING THIS APP!!!! There may be an exorbitant amount of downloads, which is GREAT as it is clearly indicates market interest, however the end user isn't actually utilizing the broadcasting feature. Translation: WE'RE NOT GETTING THIS YET!
WAKE UP!!!! This. is. HUGE! Hence why I am livestreaming the entire Unapologetically Awesome Spring/ Summer Tour, starting tomorrow. Guys, this is where the market is going. Everyone wants to be a "social media expert ..." all that other mumbo jumbo. While you focus on your title, and trying to label how you fit into the new tech scene ... I'll be ustreaming. I think you're right on about that. I often check the "Mobile" section on Ustream, how I found you btw, and there are never more than 2 pages of LIVE broadcasts going on with only half of them transmitting.
EXACTLY. EXACTLY. EXACTLY. They just don't know what to do with it ... but dude, I was part of LiveVideo back in late 07/ early 08, and the trends were leading back THEN that this was where this was going ... now its literally right in front of us. Just curious to see who steps up to the plate.
