#Facebook adds toolbar to events!

DOODDEE!! Look what I just noticed ...

They streamlined the Facebook Event navigation on the main page. (Is it weird that I get THIS excited about social media ... ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! =)

I totally thought at first this was a search option, however upon entering the word "party" in the little box- it actually created a "party" for today at 9:30 am. Dude, I'm irish - we party all the time, yo!

Anywho ... it makes posting an event a lot easier, now being just a few clicks away. However, I still find absolutely NO value in events anymore. They have become so saturated with irrelevance it makes my head hurt. Kinda over it Facebook.

Thanks for making it easier to create an event, but how about cleaning up the entire process to begin with? Even something simple like a filter for the select group of friends you want to view event invites from. Nothing too complicated. Of course you could always go after the spammers, however then they'd just come up with new ways to spam ... and that would just stink. So let's keep them stuck on the events since I don't look at them anyway.

K ... bye.

Considering all the self-inflicted problems they're having with privacy issues, I think streamlining the events process is the least of Facebook's concerns right now
