#MusicMonday: Santa Esmeralda - Don't let me be misunderstood

You can keep your 5 Hour Energy. Nothing gets the One Step crew through “That 2:30 Feeling” like a fresh pot of joe and a good old fashioned clap track. Hence the afro-tastic sounds of Santa Esmeralda’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood” that is #nowplaying on the One Step stereo.

Can anyone tell us what movie concludes with a fight scene featuring this song? Anyone? Find out after the jump!

In case you couldn’t tell, we had a good weekend. How was yours? @thekerp and team #project420 hit up the strip in Vegas while @ThaDamage threw down with an epic dude crew in Big Bear to commemorate the last weekend of our bodacious bro’s bachelordom. Needless to say the entire office arrived with an Ed Helms-sized hangover… or was that just me? Four cups of coffee later, it’s back to the grind here at One Step HQ: blogging editing, brainstorming, overcaffeinating… you know tha drill.

Motivated by Santa Esmerelda’s pump-you-up clap track and synthesized brass, we are attacking the day with the unwavering focus and steely determination of the Bride herself. That’s right. It’s from the hotter-than-hot katana duel between Beatrix Kiddo and O-Ren Ishi-Ii at the end of Kill Bill: Volume One.
