What people are saying about the new #iPhone
Mindless drone?? Really ... ?? like really, really??? I'd NEVER be part of a cult!!
Like for example ... I totally didn't just shave my head ...
or buy this tee shirt ...
or sing and chant with these people ...
Cult?!?! Whatchoo talkin about Satan??
Remember ... we don't buy apple products, we rent Steve Job's passion!

I love Apple products but I resent the pretension the brand represents. I buy Apple because its the best technology for MY lifestyle but it's not for everyone. I don't like this idea that if you don't buy Apple or have an IPhone then for some reason you're not smart, creative, cool, or rich enough. Technology should be used as a tool and not as a status symbol.
Apple is thrilled all these personality traits have been associated with their brand (obviously). They totally promote this cult bull hooey. It's ironic because people who love Apple are usually creative folks that represent the counter culture that should reject consumerism to some degree. Things like the iPad aren't useful to most people and they have them just to whip them out. Donate the 600$ to starving kids if you can blow your money like that.
I have a Mac Book that is my entire life. It's a tool and I use it to its full potential. I don't have it to be in the Apple cult. In fact, the Apple cult usually pisses me off because it's full of a-holes who have no idea how to use their fancy instruments. Just because you buy something doesn't mean you are smarter or better than someone else. Did you create it? Did you design it? no. You are just consuming it. That doesn't make you special.
