<editorsnote> Hi, I'm Jen Friel, and we here at TNTML examine the lives of nerds outside of the basements and into the social media, and dating world.  We have over 75 peeps that write about their life in real time. (Real nerds, real time, real deal.) Sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the stories!! </editorsnote>

Illustration, Design, and Motion Design

#TalkNerdyToMeLover's @maniacalmorgan

I've been one to enjoy art and have since I was a kid. Not just one kind of art either, but all varieties; photography, music, graphic design, etc. My father is an artist and everyone of his friends I knew growing up were artists. I'm no expert, but I definitely enjoy spending time at galleries and museums.

I'd like to share a couple of pieces from a very talented artist and good friend, Cryssy Cheung.

"Tanuki Udon" was a piece for a contest submitted to a magazine called Chopsticks NY and she's off to the secound round. Go Cryssy, go!

"Face" has never been posted online. #TNTML is the first! How awesome!

"Mother Nature" was printed in the first ever issue of Digital Artist magazine along with a tutorial about drawing from photos with Illustrator.

"The Renegade" is a piece about internal struggle inspired by the movie Headwig and the Angry Inch. Such passion... such beauty. Zomg!

You can check out more of her art on  Deviant Art, at her website CryssyCheung.com or follow her on Facebook!
