Tomorrow: #TahoeTech with @garyvee!!
W00t! W00t! W0000000tttttt!!!
So superly duperly uperly excited for #TahoeTech tomorrow!!! Dude, I'm going there on a private plane. Like for reals, I don't want to call it a "jet" because frankly, I really have no idea what the difference between a plane and a jet are ... come to think of it, I could just google it ... no wait, too much energy ... ahh screw it ...
SO YEAH! Pretty stoked! I can stick my feet up, and OMG! Totally get an extra packet of peanuts. WOOAHH!! Warm nuts ... mmmmmmm ... warm .... salty .... nuts ....
*drool*
I am SOOOOOOOOO excited to hear @garyvee speak! Like really exciteddddd!!! I know he's big on location based apps, and the peeps I'm going with have a REALLY REALLY REALLLLLLYYYYYY good one. He needs to know about them. If anyone reading this can help - I would GREATLY appreciate it!!! I figured I'd use my nerdy charm to track him down anyway, BUT it would certainly be easier if he knew I was looking for him.
*waves* Hi Gary!! I'll be looking for you!! ... wait that sounded creepy and stalkerish ... but I have good intentions ... it is a really really REALLYYY cool app ... wait, is he reading this? wait, am I still talking ...
BAHHH!!! Either way, going to be tweeting, and livestreaming as much as possible while there. Sooooooo stay tuned nerds.
PS. Does anyone else think it is weird that 3 months ago, I was sleeping in my car, and now I am going on a private plane. Cause I think that is just the weirdest thing ever ... and uh, yeah. YAYY!!!!! Follow your dreams, nerds!!! =)

So, I'm a pilot and read your site and just think its great what you are doing. Thought I'd chime in on the jet/plane difference as my area of #nerdism is in the #aeronautical. Something about seeing the earth from so far up just does it for me, and I think landing planes is the most awesome thing ever, talk about and adrenaline rush!! But I digress .... There are two main types of propulsion for airplanes: jet and prop. In simplest terms, props have big blades (like a boats propeller) that push air over the wings where as a jet sucks in and expels air creating thrust for power, either way they are planes..... On another, note, if the private craft is a prop it will most likely be a single engine small (four or fewer people) plane and is MUCH cheaper than a jet, some can be in the same price range as a car if its a jet you will not see the boat-like propeller blades and it probably has two engines (much safer this way....you're in for a rough day if your engine goes out on a prop) and is definitely the pricier option....the cheapest dual engine jets with a capacity of 4 will run between $2.5 & $3 million and when you get up into baller executive private planes you're talking $30 million plus... Anyway, thats the quick shake down on private prop vs. jet planes, keep on nerding hard and have a safe flight in the friendly skies!!
