Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 9:05PMI have been on such a weird The Devil Wears Prada kick for the last week or so. The music supervision was just SO effin brilliant man, totally brings a tear to my eye. *tear tear*
Either way, got around to watching the trailer today and it had one of THE MOST INSPIRING lines in it ever ...
People think that success just happens to you. It doesn't. Want this life, the decision is yours.
OMMGGGGGG that could not be more true. I'm not even kidding. Having been an actor and model for 75% of my life, I just kept waiting ... and waiting for someone to "discover" me. It just DOESN'T HAPPEN!!! It's the exception of a few people, but not the rule. And remember, you're not special ... you're awesome. Go get off your ass, do some cool shit, and market EVERYTHING that you are doing in social media. It's unbelievable how easy your voice can be amplified if you just stay true to yourself, and state with very clear intentions what you want. Your personal success is not dependent upon anyone else either. So by one of your friends, or whatever, finding their own path for success ... just keep SUPPORTING!! Life is CRAZYYYY abundant. Literally, I have put ALL of my needs on the line since May of last year in being homeless, and I never went without a shower, never went without a meal, and only had to sleep in my car for a few weeks (again though, that had more to do with me wanting to test to see how far I could REALLY go), STILL have almost no money to my name ... yet the adventures just keep pouring in!!!
So much of life is such bullshit. You REALLY do CREATE your own REALITY. There are no victims in this world, no matter what you've been through, no matter sex, or race - follow your bliss. If you're true to yourself and true to your heart, you could never be wrong.
The details of your incompetence does not interest me. Just do it.

There was something I could not comnect until now. You were an actor/model for a pretty huge chunk of your life, which to me implies that that was what you aimed to be. And when you failed at it, you resorted to establishing this site. It's bloody brilliant actually! You market this site under the pretense of interest in all things nerdy, but it is in fact to market yourself and your passion for a dream that did not come to pass. I could not understand why in 99% of all your posts you always had a link of something you have accomplished or seen, but now I get it. Advertisement.
