#Adventures in Adventuring: Whats up, Boston!!!

Oh holy moly roli poli oli - I cannot fucking BELIEVE I have to go back to Boston.

No like for reals. Super duper sad face.

So, I'm working on this TV show for Comcast. It's actually pretty rad, I have an entire channel on On-Demand called Vidblogger Nation (read more about it here). I'm producer and talent on the thing, so I come up with the adventures, shoot it, edit it, and finally deliver it. I'm totally honored to be a part of this!! BAHH!!

We got commissioned for season 2 and 3 simultaneously, so I just assumed I would shoot a shit ton of b-roll after wrapping season 2, and just insert those shots in the final project shooting the actual scenes back in LA. I was totally honest and upfront with production, and yeah ... they weren't having it. HAHA! Can't blame a girl for trying! Also too though they want us to take interviews with local media and what not - so the interviews are part of the shabang. Oh life.

The last time I was in Boston it wasn't exactly a great time ...(read more about that here and here and here) ... but now I am going in with a new perspective and some back up. Yes, that's right - I'm going in with my SPIRITHOODS!!! I have the snow leopard and my night hawk on me, and for the next 4 days I will be running around the streets in Boston in them. For reals man, if I can't find a good party in Boston I will CREATE ONE!!!!!!

Ain't nothing going to stop this nerd from having a good time, and ain't nothing going to stop me from meeting some rad new people in a new place.

I was there for THREE WEEKS and didn't walk away with one new friend!! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!?!

4 days.

1 mission. Shoot TV show/ make new friends.

One wouldn't think this would be so hard, but in the coldest city in the country - it's definitely not easy.

I only have one more thing left to say ... HIT IT CHUMBAWAMBA!!

I AM DETERMINED TO LEAVE BOSTON WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE!!

DETERMINED!! DETERMINED!! DETERMINED!!

Jen,
Your back in Boston, that's great! I admit your experience her last time wasn't to appealing but glad the producers strong armed you into coming back. So I take it you leave Friday or saturday? Good thing for you is the Bruins are playing Thursday night, even if not into sports you will def find many spots partying. feel free to hit me up on twitter @nerdblurt i can only try and get you to meet some new people out here.
