@Violent_Gamer Talks #TwistedMetal

#TalkNerdyToMeLover's @Violent_Gamer

This is one of the games I was excited see at E3 this year.  The original Twisted Metal will always have a special place in my gaming life.  Using vehicular violence to take out friends in 4 player death match never seemed to get old back in the day.  Needless to say when I first heard the announcement of a new Twisted Metal, I got a little excited in the pants.

After waiting in line with some dedicated fans of the series, I got some hands on experience in a 5v5 team objective match.  The attacking team had to secure a mobile missile launcher and destroy the enemy Iron Maiden while the other team defended.  Teams could pick from a number of vehicles, each with their own special abilities and load outs.  Since it was a new addition to the game, I immediately chose the attack chopper to add some air support (special attack mini gun hell yes!)

If you are a fan of the series, there is plenty of reason to be excited about this.  Even if you didn't have interest in the previous Twisted Metal games, you may want to take a second look.  The graphics are smooth, the levels are large and there is a death car that will suit your needs.  I am looking forward to its release this October.
