#Fact: So, my iphone just got stolen - annndddd now I'm traveling across country

Alrite, I'm over the shock and awe of the experience. I can now talk about it. 

FUCK THIS SUCKS!!! I've lived in LA for almost 9 years and you hear of these things happening, but it happens to you and holy crapsicles what a wake up call. 

So, as part of my friendship cultivation, I hit up a series of friends this week to let them all know how much I appreciate them. See below. 

I have so many AMAZING friends that have no idea how much they mean to me because I genuinely never say anything. I'm not a terribly emotional person and because of this website and what I do for a living in general, I've turned into this gnarly politican's wife smiling and nodding having adventures versus having intimate dynamics with people I care about. 

So, I then sent out those texts, and my buddy Tucker hit me up telling me that he was going to the Abbey and I was invited.

Great! I said. I'll TOTALLY be there. 

I then had to go to Santa Monica for some meetings, followed by a pitt stop at the Palihouse. I invited my buddy Zoe since she's one of the coolest chicks I know. 

Palihouse wound up being extremely lame, so we pulled an irish goodbye and then peaced out to the Abbey. I then found my buddy's table and within seconds we all took an instagram using my phone. 

I sat up on the booth to take the picture and then as my phone was handed back to me I placed it to my right next to my purse. 

Literally SECONDS later I went to check something on twitter and I realized my phone wasn't there. 

Being the naive nelly that I am, I just assumed I was being a butthead and dropped it. 

Zoe then lit the flashlight app on her phone, and low and behold - it was gone. 

Everyone started calling it, and within seconds it was turned off DESPITE the fact that I charged it at the bar earlier. 

Now all is fine and dandy since I have a password on my phone buuuuuuuuttttt these fuckers got a two for one. See, I ALSO had a Speck case, so I had my debit card with my iPhone. 

Through SHEER LUCK at the bar instead of putting my ID back in my Speck case, I actually put it back in my purse. 

AMAZING since I have to be on a plane in exactly 12 hours to head to Miami WHICH I have been looking forward to so so much for the last few days!! 

It just sucks, man. I feel violated, I feel sad, but again, apparently this person needs this more than me so please, I hope you enjoyed the drinks you purchased last night with my debit card that you have now cleared out. 

See, that's me at the Palihouse. That's not me with the other two charges. The Fiesta Cantina is literally across the street from The Abbey so these fuckers basically took my card and bolted. I'm sure my little iPhone is now somewhere half way to Mexico.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! 

Either way, in the almost 3 years this site has been up - I've only asked for money once (to get my first spirithood for my birthday in 2010) but now I'm genuinely throwing myself at the TNTML community to help get a new iPhone and have some sort of cash until whenever the bank decided to refund the charges. 

I love how they even stole the $3 from the previous post ... 

This is all so humbling and so embarrassing. 

Fortunately, I have an iPad so I can still listen to music on the flight and access wifi whenever possible - but this shit sucks, man.
