For all of our readers out there, you know by now that I love zombies. I played the crap out of the original Dead Rising. Truthfully, I only did 1 or 2 missions and spent countless hours just running around killing zombies. This game had some really unique weapons you could use to dismember hordes of the undead. You guessed it, Capcom and Blue Castle Games made Dead Rising 2 that much better.

Customized weapons are a new feature. "Hail Mary:" hand grenade strapped to a football. "Paddlemeat:" two chainsaws duct taped to a kayak paddle. There are also plenty of new weapons to use. It's going to be a zombie gore-fest!

You play as Chuck Greene, a former national motocross champion. He is one of the few uninfected people in Fortune City (modeled after Las Vegas). His reasoning behind fighting the undead is that his daughter was infected in an attack that killed his wife. He is trying to make money to keep her on "Zombrex;" the only medicine that'll keep the infection at bay.

Yes nerds, there will be co-op. You will be able to invite a friend to join your game. Both players will be able to unlock new weapons, but unfortunately only the host's progress will be saved. What's better than killing zombies? Killing zombies with a friend.
