Scandal rocks Weird Al Says: WTF

Ok ... so yesterday this was the featured Weird Al Says: WTF. Sure, no problem. Seemed like a credible WTF moment, was confirmed on multiple sites ... all was gravy. Until I posted it on our Facebook Fan Page.

#TalkNerdyToMeLover reader John CONFIRMED that this was in fact a SHUT THE F#CK up WTF MOMENT!?!?! A seedy, evil, devilish manipulation of a could be true fact spun in a horrible and misleading manner.

Here is what John uncovered:

Indiana University's main library is not sinking.Neither is the University of Waterloo campus library, but what about the University of Calgary's Mackimmie Library? If the University of Nottingham's Jubilee library is really sinking, readers better grab their snorkels. But guess what — The University of Nebraska at Omaha library is actually sinking, and the University of Las Vegas Lied Library came this close. This library sunk into an ancient burial site, and now it's haunted! Finally, is it art? Or does Melbourne, Australia have the greatest sinking library ever? See Snopes on one of the most persistent of urban legends — the amazing sinking library.

No. Me. Gusta. My sincerest apologies for this S.T.F Up WTF Moment. All the Weird Al Says: WTF facts are TRUE ... and are checked on by multiple sources prior to each posting.

So not kosher for passover. Thanks John for pointing this out!! #NerdsUnite

Weird Al Says: WTF?!

The Main Library at Indiana University sinks over an inch every year because when it was built, engineers failed to take into account the weight of all the books that would occupy the building.

Weird Al Says: WTF?!

It was the accepted practice in Babylon 4,000 years ago that for a month after the wedding, the bride's father would supply his son-in- law with All the mead he could drink. Mead is a honey beer and because their calendar was lunar based, this period was called the honey month we know today as the honeymoon.

Weird Al Says: WTF?!

It is believed that Shakespeare was 46 around the time that the King James Version of the Bible was written. In Psalms 46, the 46th word from the first word is shake and the 46th word from the last word is spear.
