#WTF: Who are these being marketed to?

Oh. My. God. I just saw the most AMAZING thing ever, and now have to share. 

I was just catching the end of Chelsea Handler on E! and this commercial came on for slippers, and I'm not quite sure what to make of it ... just watch ... 

First off, WHHHAAATTT is going on with that colorful background? Like seriously? Trippin balls? Anyone? Anyone? And who buys ad space at this hour? On Chelsea Lately? 

ANNNNDDDD, you have a child's slipper called "THE ONE EYED MONSTER?" SERIOUSLY??? At least Disney tried hiding that shit a bit better ... 

But like for real, who the hell are these things being marketed to? I'd actually be curious to try a pair, but when I went to their website they LEGIT look like they are only making them for kids!!!
