Extraordinary Measures Premiere

I just got invited to the Red Carpet Premiere of CBS Films' EXTRAORDINARY MEASURES on Tuesday, January 19th, 2010 at the Graumann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Dude, so excited! Brendan Fraser, Harrison Ford, and Keri Russell?!? Can I get a helping of that awesome applesauce?! Awessommmeeee!!!

Here's some info on the flick, I'll also be streaming live - so let me know if you have any questions for the stars of the film.

Nerds, we are uniting and conquering the world. #NerdsUnite

“Extraordinary Measures” is inspired by the true story of John Crowley, a man who defied conventional wisdom and great odds, and risked his family’s future to pursue a cure for his children’s life threatening disease. From his working class roots, John Crowley has finally begun to taste success in corporate America. Supported by his beautiful wife Aileen (Keri Russell) and their three children, John is on the fast track. But just as his career is taking off, Crowley walks away from it all when his two youngest children, Megan and Patrick, are diagnosed with a fatal disease. With Aileen by his side, harnessing all of his skill and determination, Crowley teams up with a brilliant, but unappreciated and unconventional scientist, Dr. Robert Stonehill. Together they form a bio-tech company focused on developing a life-saving drug. One driven to prove himself and his theories, the other by a chance to save his children, this unlikely alliance eventually develops into mutual respect as they battle the medical and business establishments in a fight against the system – and time.

wow im so stoked for this film. I feel that way about this site. I've poured my LIFE into this thing because I believe in it, SO, SO, MUCH.

However, I feel like an ass for comparing a site about nerd talk to a father who is risking it all for his dying daughter.

oy.

We all have our causes. Some are more important on a global scale, but all are important to us.
