Heads up NYC area nerds! Charity: Water

Just received this email from my friend Cynthia. She's looking for helpers in NYC. If you're in the area and can help out, they'd greatly appreciate it!!
(Did I mention that Cynthia was a recent Hot Nerd of the Micro Nano? Do gooder, hottie, and nerd - wooahhhh)

Hi Jen!
I need your help. I would love to have you help Charity: Water and the work they are doing this weekend for Haiti.

Charity: Water is preparing a plane that is leaving NYC for Haiti on Tuesday. They need our help filling it with cargo.

Charity: Water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations including Haiti, and an organization we have volunteered and worked with in the past here in New York..

Charity: Water is working with their team at Partners In Health, a reputable NGO on the ground in Haiti, to gather these supplies.

The Charity: Water office is now a drop-off location that is located on 200 Varick Street, NY, NY. and asking for the following:

Blankets*
Tents*
Soap
Feminine hygiene products
Sleeping bags*
Medical gloves
Bandages/gauze
Cases of bottled water

*These items can be gently used.

These items were specifically request by Partners in Health and are most needed in Haiti right now.

Good karma, you know you want it ...
