<editorsnote> Hi, I'm Jen Friel, and we here at TNTML examine the lives of nerds outside of the basements and into the social media, and dating world.  We have over 75 peeps that write about their life in real time. (Real nerds, real time, real deal.) Sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the stories!! </editorsnote>

Fun with #OKCupid: These didn't get a response

Alrite, so ya'll know I'm conducting a pretty rad experiment on OkCupid; documenting not only my experience in the virtual dating realm, but specifically highlighting what works and what doesn't ... here is some of the latest and greatest:

Um, world optimization??? This is too generic for my taste!

1. typo - this is a potential date with a nerd ... check yo self! 2. Relaxing Sunday?!?! What is relaxing about my life!?!?!?  ... This dude asked me what my "webpage was all about."

INTO computers?!?! I started typing at 2, and had my own computer company at 8. Yes, I am "into" them ... #facepalm

I'm honestly getting really bored with #OkCupid. It's not that I think the guys aren't fab, because trust - I've had some pretty AWESOME dates from OKCupid, but come onnnnnnn!!! I'm a NERD!!! At least be technologically creative in some capacity when it comes to sweeping me off my feet ... and not just clearing my cache.

All this is just getting *yawn* BOORRINNNGGGGGG

Aww, the second guy didn't seem so bad! Friendly and thoughtful -- certainly much better than the majority of messages. I think he was trying to be silly with the "thang," like "do yo thang honey" but not as obnoxious.

The third email? Ehh, not so much.

Good luck! :)
