I keep trying to write this blog about you and I can't. Fuck if I know why but I'm stuck. I'll just bullet point it for you.
Here's the thing. You've found the secret to true success (money isn't real) and that's rare. It gives you a grace and presence that I rarely c0me across.
You're not remarkably attractive in the traditional sense but the cuteness factor is topping the charts.
You're smart, not book smart, the useful kind. The kind that leads to a 20 minute Tuesday morning banter in sweat pants about whether the internet can be unified or not. The kind that lets a guy know he won't be bored with you at 50 because he's heard everything you have ever said 5 times already
BUT...
You're an idiot.
You cut people down for one misspoken or poorly written email.
You can find something wrong with every dinner, phone call or text.
You predetermine if your schedule or profession will work with him on the first date.
You push everyone away desperately because you either don't want to be let down or distracted from your work.
Advice: Hell If I know. Can't say I'm the model citizen for the perfect relationship. I guess just be more like Buddha and less like Twain.

Wow - I kinda don't know how to respond to this, except it is pretty rad to see how another person views you. I will simply respond with this, I am not desperate. In fact, I could not be any less desperate. I know what I am looking for in another person, I just have yet to find anyone that has it. I refuse to settle. I'd rather be a cat lady that doesn't like cats than be with someone just for the hell of it.

HAHA, this is why I was afraid to write this. We all know how important tone is in writing. I'm not offended at all. This was written based on perception. I have never met Jen in person. My criticisms are only based on what she projects on the interwebs. Sense we all agree perception is reality, this is my perception.
As for Jen focusing once again on one thing to tear apart, "desperate" was taken out of context. You don't appear desperate at all. Quite the opposite. But I did make the assumption that you are looking to eventually meet someone for more an evening and that may be a poor assumption on my part.
