<editorsnote> Hi, I'm Jen Friel, and we here at TNTML examine the lives of nerds outside of the basements and into the social media, and dating world.  We have over 75 peeps that write about their life in real time. (Real nerds, real time, real deal.) Sit back, relax, and enjoy some of the stories!! </editorsnote>

#NerdsUnite: What @JenFriel does NOT know about Polly Dixon

#TalkNerdyToMeLover's Polly Dixon

OMG. I can’t believe it has taken me several days to put everything together!!! I, Polly Dixon, was also a
finalist for Focus Rally: America (and since I’m posting here, I obviously didn’t make the cut either). I
remember reading this fabulous Open Letter to Jen and Chanda (some other whiny finalists) written by
@JenFriel way back when, and thinking to myself: GOD, I love this girl. I actually almost commented and
retweeted because I was so proud that someone actually said something about those girls. I didn’t for
some reason. I’m sure it was because of my self-diagnosed ADD. Either way, I read it, nodded my head in
approval and then forgot about it.

Fast forward, several more months…my partner in crime – Dusty Cooper -[I don’t even think Dusty knows
about this] - links up with @JenFriel on Twitter and NOW we are here, writing HERE, being NERDY here!
I didn’t link it together until I read the Update: Focus Rally. CRAZINESS. For some reason, I think it’s
meant to be that we didn’t make the show. I can’t wait to see what is in our future.

SMALL WORLD. If this is not a #nerdsunite situation, I don’t know what is…
