*waves* Hello from #CES

Captains blog day holy shit I am still in Vegas. Currently chillaxin in the press room at CES. Dude, way better than the bloggers lounge, but you have to sneak in. Pretend like you're going into the restroom by the bloggers lounge, walk out that back door, and 3 doors down on the left is like the most amazing place ever. For reals ... there's no crowding, so legit its gotta quit.

I am so on people overload its not even funny. I just keep getting approached, and trust me ... its utterly amazing ... but I'm still hustling. I have a place to stay, but I'm crashing with a friend so I haven't had any me time in a few days. That drives me nuts. For as extroverted as I am, I definitely need my creative, I'm lost in my own head time.

Dude, I had so much fun last night, it should have been illegal.

Went to the TweetHouse party, and totally met Andy Dick!

I'm a HUGGEEEEEE Reality Bites fan. Like for izzles my nizzles its totes mcgotes my favoritest movie ever. Andy had a cameo in it, so I went up to tell him how much I loved the film, and to thank him. He told me that originally they wanted him to play the gay friend role which went to Steve Zahn ... and omg omg omg thank god it did. For reals, I love Andy ... but the chemistry from that cast was outta control. The dynamic would have just been off.

Then he grabbed my ass ...

Yep ... that just happened.

Then I hopped in a friend's car, and headed over to Tao. SOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!! I got to wear my @spirithood and shake it like a polaroid picture, and met a 7'2 bouncer. That is TALL!!!

... As a frame of reference, I am 5'7 ...

I had so much fun meeting so many new nerdy peeps ... *waves* hi new friend!!

Then I left Tao and went to play poker with an Italian gangster ... literally.

Super crazy story actually ... this person knows a person I'm friends with ... and they had called ahead saying, if this chick needs anything please take care of her - she's part of the family.

So, I went to his place of business ... and asked if he was there. The guy behind the counter was like yes, but he's playing cards. You can't disturb him while he's playing cards. I read the guy, and got that he was totally messing with me ... so I said, oh sure - totally understand ... just want to say hello, and walked through the door.

I said hi are you xxxxxx. He gave me this look of, who the fuck are you, and what the fuck is that hood on your head. I immediately followed up with, I think xxxxx called you and told you I was coming, I'm Jen.

Then he said oh yes and an employee came up and put down a chair for me.

He then did some sort of combination of a clap and a snap, and magically there was a drink in my hand.

OMG, I thought ... I'm totally in.

I sat and watched the guys play poker - they were professionals; it was 7 different types of poker. I basically just smiled and nodded, but in a really organic, genuine way. I just honestly wanted to see what life was like for them. I asked the dude a bunch of questions about living in Vegas, and having the properties that he does, and what all of it was like. He humored my curiosity and was incredibly kind.

Then I got a text from @benparr, so I had to go. I thanked him for the experience, and the alcohol. He turned and said, how old are you?

26, I replied.

Good ... pretty girl.

I smiled saying thank you. He then asked for my number and told me if I ever needed anything to let him know. I said that that was incredibly kind of him, and I will surely take him up on it.

I walked out the door and literally did a two step skip that OMG OMG OMG!! That was AWESOME!! Dude, so rad. I only understood every 10th word out of their mouth, as Italian is so close to Spanish and French ... but WOW WOW WOW! I'm in!!!

Then I went on over across the street to kick it with Ben and the mashable hotties.

They liked my Spirithood ...

And then Ben and I got married.

See ... I announced the engagement on Twitter ...

Of course I had to wear my spirithood ...

Just kidding. I'm still single.

Hey, a girl can dream can't she??? *sigh*

Either way, totally having an awesome. awesome. AWESOME. time at CES!! It's just great to talk to so many of these people all day, everyday on twitter and then get to hang out iRL.

I'm loving you life!! RAWWRRRR I just wanna gobble gobble gobble you up!!!

Yes, apparently happiness in my world equates to me being a turkey.

That just makes so much sense! HAHAHAHA!!! =)

All my love and all my heart, nerds! If you're at CES come find me ... as far as I know I am the only chick in a leopard spirithood!! WHOOP WHOOP!!

*waves* hello from #CES!!!

OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS!!!

Nerds. Love. @Spirithoods.

Holy shit fucking shit fucker ... I've been taking so many pictures with people, its not even funny. $4.50 for the sign = best investment I've ever made in my entire life. I've been doing promo modeling forever, it's just extra special when its your own brand. People have been tripping, like you created a website? Yes, lovey. *there there ... I care*

I'm going to officially start livestreaming in a bit, was just testing out the feed and the reactions that I'm getting from people ... its OVVEERRRR THEEE TOOPPPPPP this year. Last year was amazing, but this year = whole new level. Need to shift into another phase of the hustle. It's still brand recognition and what not, but people are just really getting it. All I have to say is I created "talk nerdy to me lover" and the first response is OOOOHHHHH.

Amazing. I live in my own little world, incredible to be out and about iRL and get to absorb. So grateful, thank you. thank you. thank you. I just love what I do, and look forward to keeping it going.

Dude, totally hitting the Klout party at 5pm. So come say hi - and if you want to offer me a ride or something, I would love you forever.

And did you know we're coming to a TV set near you? Yep! We're in development, so you won't hear about it for a few more months ... but sneaky sneaky, I've been lifecasting about it the entire way! =)

... and now ... the time has come ...

Yay! Almost time for CES. Dude, look at the sign I made for when I'm livestreaming ...

Yep. That cost me $4.50. I will place a pretty strong bet right now, that considering the activity I had last year, that was an incredibly wise investment.

What is livestreaming you ask, and how do you do it?

Well thanks for asking buddy!

To livestream, download the Ustream (or justin.tv - but I use ustream) to your Droid or iPhone. Super easy, and entirely free. Even lets you create an account on the mobile app if you don't already have a Ustream account.

I embed the feed here on TNTML, and you can all interact and engage with me in real time - telling me where to go, and what you all want to see. A little chat pops up on my screen, so I can read what you all are saying - and oh yeah! It also allows you to post that you are live on Facebook and Twitter. I feel like this is literally the easiest thing in the world. Why on Earth more people do not do this is BEYOND me! It's FREE MARKETING!! FREE FREE FREE FREE!

I took it to the next level last year by getting all fancy pants by using the OWLE Bubo donated to TNTML (thanks again Graham and Harold!) to enhance the feed. For reals, this thing is the shizzy shiznat ...

... oh wait, did I say that it's FREE MARKETING!!! START LIVESTREAMING PEOPLE!!!

Get off your ass, quit using being broke as being an excuse to get the job done ... and go do some cool shit. For reals. I'm just going to grab some velcro to safely and securely attach the sign to the back of my backpack this afternoon. Pretty stoked.

Come say hi btw, if you're going to be at CES! I'm pretty certain I will be the only chick there in a leopard @spirithood!!

Watch out #CES: I've got too much soul for the digital world!!

Whoop whoop! T-minus 24 hours til I head to Vegas for CES!!! YAYYYYY!!!!

So so soooo excited!

I'm still broke as a joke, although, THANK YOU TNTML nerdy lover for the offer of your incredible donation, it looks like that will be changing in the very near future.

Here's how I am getting to CES and staying there til Sunday without being able to afford a damn thing.

First off, the ticket is free ... I filed for a press pass a few weeks back.

My ride is coming from an el duderino that I met last year at CES while I was livestreaming. At the time, we were very very very new - barely 60 days old ... I had told him, TNTML isn't a blog it's a revolution. He believed my passion, and dug my ideas, dug the concept - yada yada ... either way, we've stayed Facebook besties, and he's flying into LAX from Germany and he's renting a car and we're going to drive out tomorrow night.

I don't honestly know where I am going to be staying for Wednesday and Thursday night ... but I'm fairly confident if I just stay present, someone, somewhere, will be able to help me with 67" of carpet space. Friday to Sunday, I have an offer from a friend who gets hooked up with social rewards - so he gets a free room, and offered to let me kick it. Basically for CES, you're going to so many meetings, and such - that all you very literally need is a place to fall asleep and shower. CES is a hustle - you just have to know how to work it.

For food - I crash as many continental breakfasts as possible. I keep an ongoing record in my head of which hotels have the best ones in Vegas, and I can usually stash away an extra muffin or so to keep my blood sugar up. See, I'm cute - and very unassuming. People never ever ever think that I am up to trouble because I look so damn innocent. Little do they know ... looks can be deceiving, but who's to say I'm not the one doing the deceiving. MWAHAHAHAHA!! =)

And then Sunday, I'll either come back with my friend, or worst case scenario I know there's a bus that leaves from the Stratosphere which for $30 I can take to get back to LA (thanks mom and dad again for the Christmas money).

As far as business cards go, I have a few left from the Fiesta Movement ... yes, even this year my business cards were corporate sponsored - but instead I am just going to have a sign on the back of my backpack which will have our official hashtag:

#NerdsUnite & find me on www.talknerdytomelover.com- I'm live right now!

I am going to actively encourage people to take pictures of me or the sign instead of handing them a business card. Do you have any idea how many business cards you get at CES? Literally hundreds if not thousands ... but how many pictures do you take? That way too, you're captured inside this person's phone. Who knows where that could go ... just makes it all easy like Sunday morning.

Dude, I got SUCHHHHHHHH a crowd last year it was insane, and the best part was - HAHAH I wasn't even trying. BWAHAHAHAH!! I feel like Mr. Burns with this shit eating grin, man. Sex sells ... own it. I got stopped on the streets of Hollywood a week after CES last year, and this guy was like weren't you the chick that was doing something with her phone at CES. Yep, the best part about livestreaming is that I don't even have a crew, I do it all myself ... entirely for free ... from my cell phone.

So stay tuned guys. I'll post the livestreaming schedule tomorrow. This is entirely for you all - I have a couple keynotes I wanna see ... but I literally want you all to get to see anything you want to at CES. So, tell me what booths to go to, who to talk to ... etc. I'm blessed enough to have this platform, so let's do some cool shit with it.

Rock on nerds ... rock on!
