Oh em gee. Things are fantastic. I just wanted to share that with you guys. I'm in the process of weeding out the things that don't feel good in life. It feels great to know that I'm not going to be a slave to things that I don't need / want. It's great knowing that I'm going to be making and shaking. Jen has been a huge support and made me realize my potential. I'm smart, clever, creative, and fucking awesome. If someone doesn't see that, that's on them and I need to move on to someone that does see it. Otherwise, I'm just wasting my time. So, I'm awesome. Just so we're clear.
I went shooting yesterday. That was fun! I hadn't shot a gun in at least 5 years. That's bad considering I own a few rifles and shotguns. I just haven't gotten around to it. Yesterday was my first time shooting a handgun. Also weird considering how long I've been around guns. It felt so good! We're going to take Jen out shooting in the near future. I think she held her first gun at my house the other night. Haha, she's a natural Rambo.
This is totally going over the 5 minute limit, but that's okay. I do what I want! I'm also looking for a place to live in the LA area. Just throwing that out there because there are people that know people that know people that do favors for people that work for the President on this site. This is one of the steps I'm taking to take myself out of a position where I'm doing something I don't want to do. Life is too short to spend any time unhappy.
There might be some other opportunities rolling through which I am very excited about. I don't want to say anything before it's a sure thing, but yes... exciting. That will put me in a very solid position to do more of what I love. I'd be able to spend more time on our nerdy little website too. *pant pant* I can't wait! Anyway, I love you guys. Thank you! Believe it or not, but I'm a sports fan too. I know, who would have thought? Now, as much respect as I have for all sports, basketball is where it's at. I'm a huge Lakers fan and you'll see me writing about games throughout this coming season. Well, 2k sports is releasing NBA 2K11 on the 5th of October and I'm totally excited! Why? Because Michael Jordan is going to be a playable character this year. "Playable character" is an understatement to be honest. Jordan is going to have his own game mode called, "MJ: Creating a Legend" where you will be able to take control of Jordan as a rookie and turn him into the superstar he is known as. Unfortunately, I didn't pick up last year's NBA 2k10, but I am an avid fan of the series. I still play NBA 2k9 all the time. KOBE TO THE RIM! Anyway, here's the trailer and don't forget to pick up your copy on October 5th!
I guess it was just a matter of time before Lucas went through with it. It has been officially announced that the Star Wars franchise will be moving into 3D land. Starting with Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace in 2012, each film will be released every year thereafter. With most movies coming out these days in 3D, this was a smart and seemingly smart move on Lucas' part. After Avatar did so well in theaters, Lucas made the decision to go through and push his work into the 3D realm.
I understand that a lot of people are purists when it comes to Star Wars, but I'm excited to see this change. Sure it's a smart financial decision, but you have to be excited to see what Lucas can do with it. I'll be there to see Episode 1 when it comes out on 3D. check out what some of the harsher people are saying on HollywoodReporter.com...
Never have I seen something so amazing be systematically destroyed. Much like seeing Anakin become Vader. Each limb once filled with life, replaced with a soulless and cold appendage. It is hard to derive joy from a convoluted message warped by a man so far removed from the pulse of what made Star Wars great. Who are his "yes men" and how can they sleep at night? I don't need to see bad acting in 3D. Oh boy, here comes Anakin's love affair with Padmé in 3D! Lipstick on a turd.

You know, my daughter Molly will draw a picture and Mommy and Daddy will say how much we love it. She'll then take it back after giving it to us to enjoy and add more hearts and flowers to it. We'll tell her it's fine and we love it, but she'll take it back again and draw more stuff on it until it is a jumbled mess of flowers and hearts and you cannot see the original picture anymore. The difference here is that Molly is four years old and isn't a billionaire.
