I don't know how many of you are familiar with LCD Soundsystem's music. They are one of the most epic of epic bands. So freaking good! Alas, tonight is their last show ever. My roommate @tgumb bought tickets, flew out to NYC from LA, and is enjoying the show. Lucky son-of-a-gun. Anyway, LCD's last show is livestreaming! Here's the feed so you can enjoy the epicness!

Xyzyx: The Greatest Band in the World

Xyzyx is like a Weezer meets Foo Fighters with the stage presence of Spinal Tap. 

Ok, so maaaaaybe I'm exadurating just a bit, but Xyzyx is amazing. They also happen to be friends of mine, but that's besides the point. Or maybe, it's the whole point. ANYWAY, here's the deal. These amazing folks are working on releasing their first EP. That's right, a record! The only thing is that they don't have enough money! They are using Kickstart to try and cover some of the costs and they are already over 2/3 of the way there. Instead of spending $10 on some Natty Ice, donate $10 to help Xyzyx release their EP! Technically, you are pledging to donate money. If they don't reach their $3,000 goal in pledges by Friday, no one gets charged. Also, you get all sorts of goodies when you donate. I'm going to introduce you to one of my favorite Los Angeles bands, Ballerina Black, but before I do that, I want you bask in the glow of Tony's Pizza. If you're in LA, you're probably finally seeing rainbows and craving pizza after all the rain we've endured to begin with. I am going to make it worse. Much worse.

Can I get a witness? Ballerina Black's drummer digs pizza. I think the next person to say "what does it mean?" to me on Twitter will get a head-butt, Keifer Sutherland-style. What do you think about that?

Long Time No #Nerd: The Triumphant Return of @LikesGoyBoys

I haven't talked nerdy in far too long! Oh my goodness! Where have I been? Have you seen me?

Well, I wrapped up all the administrative crap that went along with my stint in jail! That's right, my beloved nerds, I had to keep a secret from you for a little while. It hurt something awful, but now that my name no longer appears at the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Inmate Locator, my name can once again appear here! I wouldn't have it any other way! See, I really, really, really pissed off a cop, and giving him more material to work with just wasn't such a good idea. I can talk about being a miscreant openly again! Joy!

Since the Honorable (and awesome) Judge Marsha Revel (aka Lindsay Lohan's fingernail 'Fuck U' judge) threw out my case in less than 60 seconds, I've been hard at work with some great people in the music industry, because you know I've got to turn it up to 11. I just returned from a trip to Big Bear with one of my favorite bands, Ballerina Black, and tomorrow I get to return to court for jury duty. Completely unrelated, but I'll bring back a fascinating story or three. I have also had the distinct pleasure of rocking out with rock & roll royalty, Kerry Brown. He works with killer bands and runs a record label with some guy called Billy Corgan.

Since being arrested is something of a rite of passage in my line of work, I figured I'd share my experience with all of you here at TNTML. No, I haven't abandoned you! I missed all of you dearly, and we've got a lot of catching up to do. I'm ready! Are you ready, baby?
