Fun with #OkCupid: This worked

Looky looky the email I just got on OKC ...

This email worked in so many ways its like not even funny. Let me break it down for you ...

1. He actually looked at my site. TNTML is literally the only thing I care about in life. As horribly tragic as that sounds, I give this my everything. If you want to be a part of my life, at least check out something that I devote that much energy to. He noted little details about the site - like who I use for hosting. It is indicated in the right hand nav, as squarespace TOTALLY hooks me up for free nerdy lovin ... but he asked how I liked it. Good open ended question. This guy has got to be in sales.

2. He refers to a post from earlier in the week and then allows that to be a pretty seamless segway into telling me something about him. (hahaha i actually laughed when I read that yep, he was in sales ... called it!)

3. He closes with a mention that he did read that I had a crush on a guy, and thank you, he is feeling better after his surgery ... and even then STILL asks to hang out. Very non threatening, casual, light and breezy. Dude this guy is a PRO!!!! For reals, OKC should like hire him, or he could just freelance and create templates on how to write an awesome OKC email.

Love it dude, and yes, absolutely - coffee foh shizzle! =)

Dear @squarespace, I #love you.

SOO!! We're about to get a boat load of traffic. Between the movie, and other nerdy ventures TNTML has got goin on, I had to make sure that Squarespace could even handle that much traffic. So, I tweeted @squarespace and got the email addy for their engagement leader. Best title ever, btw!

I then spoke to the el nerderino and explained to him that I barter social media for living needs, and sometimes I have had trouble paying our $20 hosting fees. I asked if there was something we could do to work things out .... ANNDDDDD ...they got right back to me this morning, and now it's on like Donkey Kong! DUDE! He even CCed in a designer to help me clean TNTML up a little. How friggen AWESOME!!!!

In all seriousness, my word is the absolute only thing that I have in this world. I wouldn't be using squarespace if I didn't love it. It is SUPPERRRRRR easy to use, and with 33 content providers - the majority of which have never even blogged before, simplicity and ease of use is at the top of my list. For real, if you can edit a word document, you can use squarespace. You don't need to know code, and adding a post is incredibly intuitive. In fact, it wasn't even until a month or so ago that I even had directions to hand out to the staff. Everyone got he hang of it that quickly. YAYY!!!! Love, love, love, me some squarespace - and am INCREDIBLY appreciative for their help. Anytime I have ever had a problem, they have gotten back to me super super super fast and with my already stressful life it is nice to know someone like squarespace has my back.

THANK YOU SQUARESPACE!!!!
