#TNTML Pilot Update!

Yeppers. The 93 page feature film script is officially being turned into a 28 page pilot. (Click here to read more of the updates on how it got done.)

I am just laughing my ass off at all of this, you have to understand. I mean, to have the people we have on board with this project now is just ridiculous. Like RIIDDDIICCUULLOOOUUUSSSSSSS!!

I cannot wait until I can start telling people more in depth as far as how it all got done. The entire system was circumvented, and I just went to the Hollywood god via Facebook. (Of course at that point, I had already signed my life rights, we had met with the director, gone over 4 drafts of the script and character development, gotten permission from all the nerdy peeps that be, all that snazzy jazzy stuff.) Screw agents, I have lawyers. HAHA! Dude, I even asked the Hollywood god if I needed an agent, and he told me flat out no. He said not yet, and just keep using my network to get things done. Way better that way. Just cut out the bullshit, man. It's so incredibly unnecessary.

I know that makes sense and all ... but this is still SUCH a trip to have access to these people. If you want something from someone, just create it - and then market and promote the crap out of it. People are inspired by action - period. end of sentence.

Either way!! Talked to @Bryceless this mornin, and the Hollywood god is confident that he can do the re-write even though Bryce hasn't written anything for TV before. Bryce utilized his extended network by talking to a friend of his who is a big big big TV writer, and got some pointers. So excited!! He said he learned a lot. OHHH!! And, DUDE! Instead of the lead (which is based on my life, hence the life rights), already being an established big wig in the tech scene - they're making her over crazy bitch style, and incorporating bartering into her existence. Basically everything she touches has been bartered or is a gift. HAHA! Sound familiar??? =) =) =) =)

SOOOOOOO EXXCCIITTEEDDDD!!!

The Hollywood god wants us to have this ready for Spring to take to the networks - which is like totally doable. Clearly.

#TNTML Movie Update: Final Draft Time!!

So, if you're new *waves* welcome ... hi, I'm Jen. Hollyhood totally took an idea that I had for a webseries, and are turning it into a major motion picture. SUH-WEET!!!!!

DUDDESSSS!!! Omg, first off .... what a week this has been. Tomorrow, @bryceless and I are sitting down with the uber nerdy director to go through the script line by line and get it ready to be presented next week. Yeah, big shit. Again, I'm not really scared - just incredibly anxious. We're talking about life changing things here, nerds. Personally and professionally there is no going back ... and I'm kinda kosher for passover with that. I've been waiting for this for a very long time ... I just had to learn how to step up to my OWN plate. So rad ... so, so, radddd!!! So yeahhhhh!!! I'll definitely let you know how it goes tomorrow, but we are moving at LIGGHTT speed on this!!! In normal Hollywoodland for us to get to this point with everything would have taken months. Thankfully the technological component of it is really kicking people in the butt - which is bitchin.

#TNTML Movie Update: WGA Certification CHECK!!!!

W00t! W00t!!! Looky, looky what @bryceless got in the mail the other day ...

SOOOOOOOOOOOO, we're currently on draft 4.1 of the script. Bryce and I are going to sit down with the director this week, and get everything smoothed over ... and once the re-write is good, and we're all on the same page ... we're going out wide with it baby!!! Still doesn't feel real to me. This definitely helped, but I don't think it will hit me until I have some sort of payment in my hand. I bartered my current living and office arrangements, and get everything taken care of for me as far as my day to day is concerned ... but I still own this brand outright. I haven't accepted a single check, which is just SOO effin rad!!!!! Means the unapologetic awesomeness can continue, and no one can have it ... so nah nee nah nee poopy!!! =)

Pretty stoked to say the least, but this has honestly been the hardest I have ever worked in my entire life. It is so consuming - its nutso ... again, the lead is based on me, but its not my life story. It's just an experiment I wanted to conduct on the site in the form of a web series. Bahh!!! So, so, so, grateful. There's no going back now ... and I can't WAIITTTTT!!!! BAHHHHHHH!!!!!

DUDES! I just got the most awesomest of awesomely awesome calls today from the writer of the #TNTML film @bryceless. He directed a really gnarly documentary called Exxxit: Life after porn, and DUUDDESS it just got accepted into this big film festival, and now is automatically a contender for the ACADEMY AWARDS!!!!!

What's even MORE awesome about this too, is that I KNOOOWWWWW the people at the Academy will actually WATCH his film - and since it's good ... omg omg omg ... I'm just so excited. See, I used to work in movie marketing for 2 years. Love, love, LOVED it, and my boss was a member of the Academy. I actually had to create a spreadsheet for him and document all of his screeners, and dudeee ... the name alone "Exxxit: Life after porn" will TOTALLYYY get people to watch it!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

Yeah, crazy fucking shit. STILL has not hit me ...

Just got off the phone with the writer/producer/maker of awesomeness and he had just gotten off the phone with the IRL version of Ari Gold.

For real, this man is like a super ... uber ... UUBBBEERRRRRRRRRR big deal here in LA ... and he reps the director that I can officially announce next week when the lawyer comes back from vaca. My head hurts from all of this, btw. Well, IRL Ari Gold knows about every script out there - as he is just that big of a deal ... and he was even all, "omg, there's nothing out there like this right now." Yeah ... operative word being right now. Translation: LETS HAUL ASS AND GET GOING!!!!!!!! You Hollywood people are SOOOOOOO EFFIN SLOOOOWWWW!!!!

I've literally been losing my mind for the last 2 days. @maniacalmorgan came over last night, and I was just telling him that I kinda can't believe how far all of this has come. Again, just the NAMEEEEEEEEEEE of the movie being "Talk Nerdy to Me, Lover" means I can literally do whatever I want with this site, and I'm totally kosher.

I can say get all Scarface, and say fuck 182 times in this post ... and still be totally kosher for passover. I don't have to answer to a single person. That is INSANE! Literally ... I just went insane in the membrane.

So, when I say this is what I love to do ... and I'm really not special, just awesome. Please, understand that I mean that from the depths of my soul to the tip of my toes. ANNYYONNNNNEEEEEEEEE can do this. I'm just a marketer and connector - this was my wheely dealy. It's a complete blessing. But, how can I help you? Do you have something you want to promote??? A webseries?? A blog?? Your twitter feed?? I have no idea what is out there, but I very seriously need to give back as much as possible, as the closest religion I define myself as being connected to is Buddhism, and I have no idea what to do with all these blessings. The more I give, truly the more I get. And I just ... don't even know where to begin.
