#TNTML Pilot Update!

Yeppers. The 93 page feature film script is officially being turned into a 28 page pilot. (Click here to read more of the updates on how it got done.)

I am just laughing my ass off at all of this, you have to understand. I mean, to have the people we have on board with this project now is just ridiculous. Like RIIDDDIICCUULLOOOUUUSSSSSSS!!

I cannot wait until I can start telling people more in depth as far as how it all got done. The entire system was circumvented, and I just went to the Hollywood god via Facebook. (Of course at that point, I had already signed my life rights, we had met with the director, gone over 4 drafts of the script and character development, gotten permission from all the nerdy peeps that be, all that snazzy jazzy stuff.) Screw agents, I have lawyers. HAHA! Dude, I even asked the Hollywood god if I needed an agent, and he told me flat out no. He said not yet, and just keep using my network to get things done. Way better that way. Just cut out the bullshit, man. It's so incredibly unnecessary.

I know that makes sense and all ... but this is still SUCH a trip to have access to these people. If you want something from someone, just create it - and then market and promote the crap out of it. People are inspired by action - period. end of sentence.

Either way!! Talked to @Bryceless this mornin, and the Hollywood god is confident that he can do the re-write even though Bryce hasn't written anything for TV before. Bryce utilized his extended network by talking to a friend of his who is a big big big TV writer, and got some pointers. So excited!! He said he learned a lot. OHHH!! And, DUDE! Instead of the lead (which is based on my life, hence the life rights), already being an established big wig in the tech scene - they're making her over crazy bitch style, and incorporating bartering into her existence. Basically everything she touches has been bartered or is a gift. HAHA! Sound familiar??? =) =) =) =)

The Hollywood god wants us to have this ready for Spring to take to the networks - which is like totally doable. Clearly.

#TNTML Movie Update: Today's a good day!

BAHH!! AHHH!! AND WAHHHHH!!!!!

Just got off the phone with the Hollywood god - and my goodness gracious, I love me some life! I can't say anything right now, as papers still need to get done and yada yada yada ... but holy mother of a corkscrew!!!! This is GREAT! Like super great!!!

I will be the first to tell anyone, that I have no clue what I am doing. I have no idea how to get a movie, or TV show off the ground! Frankly, I don't care. Dude, I'm a hustler. I can sell ice to an eskimo, and when I believe in something I can break EVERYTHING down and figure out what the string of do-able actions are in order to execute. I trust that by staying present and asking a whole LOTTA questions, I can get answers.

I have built this network of thousands and thousands of people across all of social media, but what good is it really? Apparently priceless.

It all started back in March when I did a screening of this fanschmastically awesome nerdy flick. There was someone there, who was like THE person behind this flick - and he dropped me an email on Facebook thanking me for the exposure on TNTML. Frankly, I had NOOO clue who this person was, but I didn't care - I respond to every email. I thanked him, and he ended it with let me know if there was anything I can do to help. I said of course, let's have lunch! So we did ... got to talk nerdy ... again though, this was BEFORE all of this ... and BEFORE there was even a whisper of a script. Our story at that point was barely even beginning. This person and I stayed friends on Facebook, however - so it was pretty comforting knowing he was in my extended network.

Things went up and down over the last 5 months. Everything is two steps forward, one step back. We got a director involved that we are totally in love with, but then his wifey's show got cancelled. He needed to make some monnneeyyyyy. SO! I contacted the Hollywood god on Facebook, and just said - dude, this is good. YOU NEED TO SEE THIS. HAHA!! I litereally said dude, and used caps. I'm a crazy bitch with nothing to lose, I dont know - I just write like I talk. Totally worked, got the meeting at his office in my holey polka dotted tennis shoes (you can read more about that meeting here) .... and yeah.

He came back, loved the tech components, loved the script - but just said, this would be better suited as a TV show. So our next doable action is to take the 93 page script, and develop it into a 28 page pilot which is going to go to the networks in spring for pilot season. Talk about removing the ego though, and just learning to go with the flow. I trust this person's expertise. I can predict trends, and get tech. Other than that - meh! This person KNOOOWSSSSS the film industry in out up and down. If he says this is best fit for TV, it is. I just focus on what I know, and utilize my network to find out what THEIR area of expertise is, and work from there. Get it? You be you, I'll be me, let's be AWESOME! The fact that he is going to help facilitate this transition for us is just ... wow.

HOLY SHITT!!!! This was like the greatest mcgreatest eightest news EVERRRRRRRR!!! How did this all get done?? Social media, baby!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP WHOOPP!!!!!
