#Revolution: It's happening whether you like it or not!!!

I was LITERALLY just in a meeting today telling this awesome chickadee - who had a network deal ... which was great ... but I was explaining to her that her network deal doesn't mean garbanzo beans anymore!! She's like so you want me to do web stuff? And I explained to her that there will be NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE WEB AND TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not talking about Web TV circa 99 that my grandmother thought was the second coming of good ol' JC because she could access her AOL mail while she was watching re-runs of Matlock.

Networks just became irrelevant. Well, I take that back - not completely ... just transformed. It is all about the BRANDS BRANDS BRANDS. Personalized as much as possible. We want to be able to post vids of what we're watching on Facebook, RT and chat on twitter with our friends providing "SOCIAL COMMENTARY ON SOCIAL MEDIA" OF YOUR BRAND!!!! hehehehe get it, that's our tagline ... heheheh think that was an accident?? hehehehe

Come ONNNN man!!!!!!!!! 1+1+1+1+1+1+1+1 is all sitting right here! WHY ARE MORE PEOPLE NOT CONNECTING THESE DOTS?!?!?!?!?!!?!!!!!!!!! This is exactly what I did with TNTML. This isn't just a blog, or a website ... its the new future of what our web experience will be. Everyone is going to be doing it!!!!!!! Take an idea ... like uniting nerds. Now, create a domain, and website. Search engine optimize the crap out of it so people can find it. Create a facebook page, to encourage engagement. Designate a hashtag specifically for your site's brand (ours is #nerdsunite). Create a ustream for live broadcasts to be able to broadcast said nerdy entertainment. Embed the feed on your website to engage not only your current web traffic, but it will also pull from Ustream's current user base. Go live from said channel on your cell phone. It'll list your show in the "Mobile" channel as well, which will allow it to rise from the other liveshow static. NOOO ONNNEEEE livestreams from their phone. Like literally, I have been doing it for 3 years and have YET to bump into another livecaster. Worried about the feed quality? Well, use verizon for a more solid connection, and also get an OWLE BUBO (*waves* Hi Harold and Graham) to enhance the feed to almost solid TV camera type shiznat.

EITHER WAY, THE BOTTOM LINE IS YOU ARE BUILDING YOUR BRAND ONLINE!!!!!!!! I'm not saying that this is a cut and paste for everyone. Mine was just super easy being a nerd. Everything is nerdy!!! YAYYY!!!!! But it also came that easy to me because I am a nerd. Find your own truth, find your own voice, and build your own brand. Get off your butt, and get excited!! We are in a recession, it's not a bad thing - it means there is THAT MUCH MORE ROOM FOR GROWTH!!!!!! The friggen WORLD changed!! Take responsibility, what are YOU doing about it!!!!!!!!! BAHHHHHH!!!!! Here ... read this article ...

Brittany Bohnet and fiancé Dave Morin used to plop in front of the television in their San Francisco living room with a smart phone in one hand and the remote control in the other, computers resting in their laps as they switched their attention from screen to screen.

But with Google TV, the young couple can watch the latest episode of AMC's "Mad Men," check updates from friends on Facebook and on Flickr show off photos of Morin's marriage proposal (in a seaplane over a Maldives beach where he had spelled out the question in coconuts on the sand) — all on one screen.

Bohnet, 25, who runs the marketing campaign for Google TV, is one of 400 Google Inc. employees who have been testing Google's latest venture. Morin, a 29-year-old Internet entrepreneur, is already sold. He believes people will spend even more time in front of their televisions and with each other.

"This is going to be one of those things that people talk about," he said. "People don't get what the possibilities are."

It will be Bohnet's job to coax the rest of the world to get them. Not everyone will be as easy to convince as Morin. The real test of the Internet giant's high-stakes gamble to bring the Web to TV comes this fall when the first Logitech International set-top boxes and Sony high-definition television sets and Blu-ray players that run Google TV software land on store shelves.

Google will have to persuade the television audience that so far has shown little interest that they should hook up another set-top box to their televisions or pay a premium to buy a new TV set that runs on Google's software.

The technology company better known for its ubiquitous search engine will also have to entice manufacturers other than Sony to make Google televisions and retail chains other than Best Buy to sell them. And it must succeed where others have struggled. Boxee Inc., Roku Inc. and TiVo Inc. all make devices that offer Internet video on TV and have yet to gain mainstream traction.

Even Apple's set-top box, which plugs into a TV to allow viewers to watch movies and shows through iTunes, has stirred little excitement. Analysts say Apple will probably revamp its product and reduce the price to $99 from $229 to take on Google TV. Apple declined to comment on its plans.

Bohnet believes television is ready for a major makeover: No one wants a computer or phone without a browser these days, she says. Why would they want a TV without one?

Google TV gives you a home screen that you can personalize with your favorite shows, channels or websites. It includes a browser and search box to explore the Web and the TV programming lineup. Bohnet can even give her Android or iPhone the voice command, "Friends," and within seconds it dispatches a search query to the television to find the show's episodes.

A queue organizes and saves programs Bohnet has recorded and video podcasts she wants to watch. An on-screen guide offers her viewing options by category, say comedies or news programs. If she finds something interesting on her smart phone, she can "fling" it (Google's terminology for sharing something with the TV) and watch it there.

Her friends no longer have to hunch over a laptop to show each other spoof movie trailers on YouTube.com; anyone with an Android or iPhone has a remote control to her TV at their fingertips. Google TV also makes multitasking easier with a picture-in-picture feature: Bohnet can watch the New York Yankees play the Texas Rangers while browsing baseball statistics on the Web.

Bohnet said she's already looking forward to sharing television with friends (think text and video chat on the TV screen while watching "American Idol" with a friend in another location, for example). As for other features, she's banking on the ingenuity of software developers who have helped drive the success of Android smart phones and Apple's iPhone. Many of the 50,000 applications in the Android store will work on Google TV beginning early next year. That's when Google will release the software developer's kit so that developers can begin to roll out applications created for Google TV, Bohnet said.

These applications may help deliver the long-held promise of interactive television, Bohnet said. A prime example is Shazam, an application for smart phones. Not sure what that song is playing on TV? Hold your smart phone near the set for about 30 seconds and Shazam identifies the song and its artist. Shazam then remembers the song and offers you a chance to buy it or play the YouTube video if one's available.

"We don't even know what developers are going to do," Bohnet said.

Still confused?? Here's a vid! Welcome to the future!

#Facebook press conference today!

Marky Mark and his Facebook bunch scheduled a superly duperly big announcement today at 7:30 EST. Clearly, this comes as no surprise since they have eluded to a location based announcement in recent weeks... ANNNDDDD particularly with their livestream channel announced a mere 4 days ago as well. Sit tight, buckle up ... and let's see what nerdy lovin Mark has got for us!

(CNN) -- Foursquare, Gowalla and other mobile check-in services could get some big competition on Wednesday. Really big.

Facebook, the 800-pound gorilla of the social-networking world, has scheduled a media event for Wednesday afternoon at its Palo Alto, California, headquarters. Virtually everybody paying attention predicts the site will announce its long-expected leap into the world of location-based networking. That might allow users to tell friends exactly where they are -- using the GPS on their phones -- in addition to what they're doing and thinking.

A Facebook announcement is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. ET.

For months, Facebook has barely tried to conceal details about its plan to jump into the check-in space, which is dominated by smartphone apps that let users tell their friends where they are at any given time. Facebook all but promised to debut a location-based feature at its F8 Conference in April.

"We are working on location features and product integrations, which we'll be launching in the coming months, and we'll share more details when appropriate," spokesman Larry Yu told CNN content partner CNET last week.

But the tech pundits have speculated incorrectly about Facebook's leap into the world of location features before.

Earlier this year, the tech community anticipated such an announcement both at March's South by Southwest Interactive festival in Austin, Texas, and at the F8 conference in San Francisco, California.

Analysts say that when complaints about user privacy on Facebook prompted changes to the site's settings this spring, that may have slowed its progress on the check-in application.

The past year has seen big growth in the relatively new mobile check-in space.

Foursquare, which essentially made its debut at South by Southwest in 2009, was one of the combatants in a so-called "Location War" at this year's festival, going heads-up with Austin-based rival Gowalla.

Since then, Foursquare has become the clear favorite of the two -- and a darling of tech media, even as it looks for ways to turn a profit. Boasting a half-million users at the start of SXSW, Foursquare doubled that in about a month then needed only another three months to hit 2 million last month.

On mobile apps like Foursquare, users "check in" at restaurants, bars, movie theaters or just about anywhere else they visit. The idea is twofold -- to let friends know what you're up to while racking up points and earning virtual badges in the application's gaming element.

The New York-based Foursquare has begun forging some corporate partnerships and some businesses have started offering discounts and other deals for users who check in frequently.

But Foursquare's relative success could be dwarfed by the sheer volume of Facebook's user base. Its half-billion users represent a massive potential user base.

"If Facebook enters into this, and I don't think there's any reason to think they won't, they'll just slaughter everybody," said Alexandra Samuel, director of the Social and Interactive Media Center at Emily Carr University in Vancouver and a panelist at South by Southwest, told CNN at the time.

But Facebook's platform is expected to allow third-party applications to integrate with it to offer at least some of its check-in functions to developers of new apps, which could offer outsiders more of a chance.

On Tuesday, Foursquare CEO Dennis Crowley seemed nonchalant when asked by a Twitter follower about the potential Facebook announcement.

He wrote: "Ah, check-ins are just 'Act 1' of the @foursquare story. We getting ready to roll out Act 2 and Act 3. :)"

@myfoxLA presents: #FlamingoGate 2010!!!!!

Good LORRDDDYYY could @myfoxLA be more irrelevant?!? No wonder why so many of us have stopped tuning in to news stations instead to opt out and watch/read news stories online. @Kristi_Gail was just on Fox tonight, and of COURSE I watched it with her ... but not before I had to sit through LITERALLY 10 minutes of pink flamingos.

Yep ...

Pink. Flamingos.

This local school's cheerleading team were raising money by flocking people ... I don't know, I just couldn't handle how much of it sounded like fucking. The girls being underage and all it was just horribly, horribly, horribly inapporpriate.

Well, who are we kidding ... of course teens have sex ... look at @katyperry's new video for Teenage Dream

BUTTTT!!!! Do people forget we're at war? Not trying to be all "that person ..." but really!?!? 10 MINUTES ON THIS ISSUE!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!!?!?!!!!!!! 1/6th of THE ENTIRE NEWSCAST SPENT ON FUCKING FLAMINGOS!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!! There isn't a #facepalm strong enough for this one. I just ... I just ... I had no choice but to turn to twitter ...

Either way, great job Kristi!!! You looked beautiful, but not that this picture I took of the flat screen thing against the wall that doesn't hook up to the internet does you justice or anything ...

We're SUPERLY DUPERLY proud of you either way!! YAYYY!!!!

#NowPlaying: @Johncmayer - No Such Thing

Wooah ... with all the stuff we've got going on with the film, I'm very literally starting to question if there is such a thing as the real world, or if it really is just this big lie we have to rise above. HIT IT @JOHNCMAYER!!!!

"Welcome to the real world", she said to me
Condescendingly
Take a seat
Take your life
Plot it out in black and white
Well I never lived the dreams of the prom kings
And the drama queens
I'd like to think the best of me
Is still hiding
Up my sleeve

They love to tell you
Stay inside the lines
That something's better
On the other side

I wanna run through the halls of my high school
I wanna scream at the
Top of my lungs
I just found out there's no such thing as the real world
just a lie you've got to rise above

So the good boys and girls take the so called right track
Faded white hats
Grabbing credits
Maybe transfers
They read all the books but they can't find the answers
And all of our parents
They're getting older
I wonder if they've wished for anything better
While in their memories
Tiny tragedies

They love to tell you
Stay inside the lines
But something's better
On the other side

I wanna run through the halls of my high school
I wanna scream at the
Top of my lungs
I just found out there's no such thing as the real world
Just a lie you got to rise above

I am invincible (x3)
As long as I'm alive

I wanna run through the halls of my high school
I wanna scream at the
Top of my lungs
I just found out there's no such thing as the real world
Just a lie you've got to rise above

I just can't wait til my 10 year reunion
I'm gonna bust down the double doors
And when I stand on these tables before you
You will know what all this time was for
