Look what just got tweeted out (and a big thanks to whomever sent this out, I can't seem to find the original tweet now...):
Love this. It really put the impact of social media into perspective on an international scale. There are a couple of things that surprise me about this, though: Eminem on the top ten? Way to go, buddy! And Facebook on the top facebook like pages? Um...come on, people. You are already on Facebook, we know you like it.
What really surprised me is the American statistics. There are really that many Americans without access to the internet? That is nutso buttso and makes me sad. I thought the percentage of American's using social media was low, too, but it actually doesn't surprise me. There are so many backwards thinking people that equate social media with stalking, lost jobs, ruined marriages, drama, and fake friendships. *sigh* There is just no helping some people.
