This week has been fun filled with out a doubt and very productive. Ive been working on podcast stuff with Matt Cohen (@CamelToad), ran away to San Diego to see Dave Oshry (@DaveOshry), and worked on some super secret stuff with a super secret person. Ohhhh secrets :) and we have the TNTML live show!!!

 

First off, the show, the girls. I heart you. Here, it gets gushy, I love you girls so much you have no idea. You finally make me feel like i belong and have a peer group i fit in to in LA which was much harder than it seems. Serious, you're all so beautiful and talented </end gush>

 

Also, I met the head writer of Captain Planet at Trader Joes! 

Matt and I have been working on screen capturing and commentary videos as well as a project with Jen on our podcast as well as more stuff a coming. 

Over the weekend I went to Dave's in San Diego. I actually road the train down. I have never ridden the train to SD before, or anywhere on the California coast. It was a really beautiful treck. About 2.5 hours long. I started reading Ready Player One on the ride. Its like a modern day Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but game-centric. Really well written, highly recommend. I also spend almost the whole ride talking to my mom. Now, Im not going to lie, my mom and i have had tiffs, like any mother daughter relationship, but its so true, so many things come with time and maturity and experience. My mom and I have gotten really close with my marriage dissolving. Really puts in to perspective the meaning of family. Family is forever and will always love you and stick with you. I really thought that was what marriage was, which is what im mourning more than the actual relationship. Yes, its awful it didnt work, but when I found out he was cheating the whole relationship it makes it much easier to move forward, I have no option. But also makes me know this is right. That relationship was never right. He speaks Japanese, I speak Spanish is how Jen explains it. Very true. My idea of love and marriage is just different. We dont belong to the same peer group so makes sense. Still what he did is not ok I dont believe, but it is what it is. 

OH! last thing, the cartoon i am the female lead voice for for Machinima is out. I said for for but it seemed correct? ok yea so check it out!

Well, its been a rollercoaster of a two weeks now but I feel like I am in a much better place. Knowing the relationship was never really what i thought it was makes it much easier to move on with my heart. I wish him well for sure but he has gone to a place and doesnt want help. What can you do? 

Work has really been going well. Jen, the girls, and I have the Live show Friday. I got the part of Nina for Sanity not Included, and some editing work. The podcast is coming. Everything seems to be coming together at the perfect time thanks for my amazing friends I have made out here. Really changing directions in life has been amazing. Scary, hard, but exciting. Although it is fun to use the term fisting and see people get shocked, got used to nothing being shocking for a while.  

Saturday we all went to Dr. Suzys radio show. Dr Suzy has been nice enough to help me through all of this. She has been amazing and supportive. I really felt like for the first time I found therapy that felt right. Oddly enough, it was Eros and Venus day which last year Michael and I play. Insane what can change in a year. Hal Sparks actually came in, we'd been talking for a bit on line and ran in to each other here and there but this was the first time we really got to hang out and talk. Impressed. I had no idea he was from Kentucky either. Was nice to have a good conversation with someone and i instantly felt very comfortable around him. Maybe its my new state of no one is a romantic interest to me right now so I just dont care about, well that kind of walls. 

So, I'm done moving and have to get up early to pick up MC Lars up from the airport and work. Hello new world. Nice to meet you.

Yello Ladies and Gents,

So here we are right before the holidays and I’m about to hop a plane home for two weeks, really the longest I’ve been home since I’ve moved. I’m really excited to drink 50 cent PBRs with people who really drink PBR for years not this hipster crap here. psh.

This week has been another amazing week. Hollywood, I love you. Valley, I’m sorry it’s you, not me. I went to see Edgar Wright’s, "The Wright Stuff" this week at the New Beverly with Michael and Chris. Basically it’s a series of movies that are considered great but Edgar hasn’t seen. I started talking with Edgar a bit over facebook and aim the last couple of years oddly enough but never thought I’d meet him. Well, that changed. He sent me a message on facebook about the series (that’s how I even found out of about) and invited me and gave me a ticket +1. So that was interesting. Michael went with me and I hung out and talked to Edgar a bit after the show. Awesome, really nice guy. Kind of exactly what I expected so that was comforting to have someone be as interesting and nice as you projected on them.

Friday Tim Armstrong and I went back and saw Buckaroo Bonsi that Friday at Edgar's show as well. I can’t lie, they were all pretty terrible movies. Maybe timing is just off.

Saturday night Jen, Julie, Michael, Chris, Ben, Shep and I went to Bar Sinster. Oh and MC Lars came out, too. Finally introduced him and Jen >:) I think they hit it off a bit eh eh :) But the night was awesome. Jen and Julie got tied up for the first time and really had a great experience with it. We all danced and talked all night. Oh friendship, I’m really feeling for the first time since I got out here that I have a group of friends to do things with it. It’s starting to feel like home.

I am back Nerdites!

This past week has been amazing. As you know, I’m taking my exit from porn and focusing on gaming and already I see this is without a doubt the best choice I could have made. Things are going to be great. I did a segment for Spike TV/ GTV for my top 5 games of the year. I went to the IGAs and VGAs and made lots of awesome connections, but what is the best is that everyone is relatable and freaking normal. Not to sound like a bitch, but you've read my posts... its dumbfounding what work ethics and manners were at my last job without reason. So yes. VIDEO GAMES!

I did some interviews on the red carpet for the VGAs for RipTen thanks to Dave Oshry.

Also, I’ve since moved to Hollywood, which I’m loving. Groceries, walking. Bars, walking. ANYTHING, walking. Unlike the stupid tan dumpster that is the valley which is just 7-11's and jack in the boxes.

Although there was that shooting on Hollywood and Vine last week which is a bit odd for me but I guess what can ya do. Walking to my groceries is worth getting shot? eh? haha

Hello Nerdites.

Well I guess I have some exciting new to share. As of the end of the year I’m quitting porn. I signed a director’s contract with Machinima and have been working on more mainstream things. Which is funny because it’s never where I thought I’d go. I honestly got into porn to have some fun sex and make money, pay off college and work a normal office job (obviously in a field I enjoy) and now this. Not that you’ll really notice that I won’t be in porn anyway. I only shot 6-10 scenes a year. Which makes the whole thing even more funny because I’m more well known that girls that bang daily in porn but it’s never what I wanted. I never cared about being famous, somehow I got a name but not getting laid still in porn? Funny how that works huh?

Maybe now I can bone cute nerdy boys I’ve been wanting to? Being in porn also made sex outside of work suck because every dude was afraid to bang me! They would always be afraid they wouldn’t compare to "porn sex". Let me tell you, I hope you don’t compare. It’s all about what looks good and not a single bit of what feels good. Wow. Sorry what a tangent.

I’m really excited about where things are going sorry. Also, I have been sucked in to Skyrim WAY WAY too much. Like. It’s not healthy, but I can now smelt jewelry. If you haven’t played yet, stop reading right now and go play. You’re missing out on life...er.. another fake life I mean.
