They're Talking Nerdy Baby: #NerdsUnite
OMMMMGGGGGGGGGG is there anything better to wake up to? Looky looky the email I got this morning ...
Hey XXXXX!
Thanks so much for reaching out dude.
I was totally in your same shoes. I lived my ENTIRE LIFE for other people, and their expectations of who I was and what I should be doing. It drove me crazy - literally. I finally got so frustrated with reading all of those cheesy quotes sitting around my desk, and just said I'm gonna go for it. The first step was the hardest, but the best part was every subsequent step was shown to me the moment it needed to be shown. It's a journey that you can't really see and no one prepares you for. It starts with this feeling of discontent, and unhappiness. I had two things I listened to ... feels good/ doesn't feel good. Literally, it was that easy. Social media felt AWESOME! But everyone thought I was bat shit for turning my back on acting and modeling. It's like wait, why can't I just create my own multimedia platform to take pictures on and occasionally make a funny video or two. Isn't that kinda the same? Who says I have to do it your way when I think this is a REALLY special time to be alive in this space?! And it interests me SO much!!! This can't be a bad thing!!
People will tell you you're crazy. Family and friends may not speak to you for a while ... but hold people in a place of unconditional love and just let go, babe.
Life really. really. really. is what you make of it. If it doesn't feel good, you're doing life wrong.
Stay strong, and LMK if theres anything I can do to help.
#nerdsunite
Also!! I totally updated the About page, and created a Jen's Journey piece up top sort of explaining how we all came about, since my journey isn't exactly what this site is necessarily about - more of just a cool tale. You guys have NO idea how hard it is to write that yourself while you're still so deep in it. It's a very weird feeling - no other word for it.
I'm totally serious too, and please take me up on an offer to help anyone out with anything you guys can come up with! Dude! @Zrdavis hit me up back in December, and TODAY he is starting his hike on the Appalachian Trail. Like today, like right now - he is there. It was very literally nothing for me to post, and it helped him tremendously. So fucking bat shit, man! So for reals ... you don't bother me ... you people make my life, and I kinda wanna make out now cause kissing feels good and you're hot and uh yeah.
#kthxbye

I thought you turned your back on acting and modeling because it was not working out? It would seem you had a more positive response here than trying to be an established or well recognized actor.
If you receive an offer for a tv show or movie, which I presume is the reason for this site in the first place, would you continue to run this site or leave it with a would be assistant?
oh dude not at all. the opposite, i just didnt find it fulfilling. literally, i was learning SEO all while I was in florida booking solid campaigns, im still even on the Snorg Tees site.
i was always more interested in tech, but i just never found something that fit me just right. then social media came along!
success is a personal thing dude. i already have a tv show coming out, and the part that interests me the most about it is the marketing and the interactive components. im not putting myself in it.
i cant say this to you though and have you really understand it. it requires a shift in consciousness, hence why the biggest component of the journey was in fact a spiritual one. when you find something you love to do, it makes you come alive in ways you didnt know you possibly could. I finally feel like i am living to my potential - its incredible and something i wish to help others now experience.
xoxo
You dodged the question mate. And Snorg Tees is hardly what I had in mind in association with being a well recognized actor, but to each their own way I suppose. Just like Ashton Kutcher gets praised for his mediocrity. Honestly, what did that bloke ever do?
This pilot could end up as an actual show if well received, but how many tv shows similar to this do you watch? And I don't quite understand when you say you are not putting yourself in it. Isn't it based on your life? That would make you at the center of it all would it not.
i respect and appreciate your input.
