#TipsForDudes: Take Charge!

First off, this absolutely does not mean: be chauvinistic, be controlling, be demanding or be rude.

What it does mean is to be aggressive.  I know, I know, it is 2011, and as women, we know that we don’t need you to take charge.  I’m sure some women don’t want it at all.  But for a lot of us, we do.  I know that I make decisions ALL.DAY.LONG.  Stupid decisions, hard decisions, whatever, but I am always making the final call on something.  So it really turns me on to have someone make those decisions for me.  Where to eat, what we are going to do, sexual positions...I don’t care what it is, but just to have someone take a little bit of control is awesome.

If you are in the mood - initiate.  If you get turned down, who cares?  Try again tomorrow.  And if it works - amazing!  Take charge and own your chance!  Don’t, I repeat, DO NOT just kiss and kiss and have no plans for a middle or end game.  Don’t leave it up to your lady to make the next move every time.  You are the one that initiated, you are the one that should lead this sexy dance. 

Having said all of that, don’t start ordering for us at a restaurant.  Don’t tell us who we can hang out with.  Do tell us that you are going to give it to us from behind before...well....whatever you want to do.  Just make a decision, and leave it up to us to veto it if we need to. 

Oh yeah, and use those man muscles to pick us up by our butts and toss us on the bed from time to time.  You won’t be sorry.  

#KnowledgeBomb: Tree frogs and their babies

There are millions of amazing tree frog images out there, because they are one of the most brilliantly colored species on the planet.  There are tons and tons of different species, all with unique behaviors and morphology, but the one thing they have in common is their life in the trees.  

Tree frogs spend the majority of their life up in trees, and generally only come down to land to mate and spawn.  They all have big pads on their phalanges (fingers and toes) that help them stick to the tree and leaves.  This allows them to climb upside down, go down a tree head first, and cling to leaves through wind and rain.  

They have a wide variety of predators, like snakes and birds, but some are toxic (hence the wild colors).  They eat bugs and blend into their surroundings.  

Okay, enough of the boring stuff, here is my favorite part of tree frogs.  This doesn’t apply to all of them, but some of the species will climb down to the forest floor to mate and spawn, then once their cute little babies turn into tiny tadpoles, they attach them to their back (some species it is the male that does this, in others its the female) and carry them up to have them develop in the canopy.  

Some species do it one at a time, but others attach them all and carry them up together.   They take their precious cargo up to plants called bromeliads - they are plants that catch water in pools and live up in the canopy - they grow off of other trees.  Imagine the top of a pineapple, but filled with water.  They take the babies and drop them in there for them to have shelter, food and a wet place to grow.  Some tadpoles are cannibals so they put one baby per pool, but some plop them all in there together.  It’s also thought to help increase the survival rate of the babies since they don’t have to make the journey up to the top of the trees when they are ready.  I totes magotes got to see this firsthand when we were in Ecuador, and it BLEW MY MIND.

#TMI: My husband wants to have a three-way

I don’t know about this.  And I’m sure this is entirely too much info, but who else am I going to talk to about?  So you are stuck with it!  Bwaaahahahaha!

We have talked about this before, but he dropped it when I reminded him that he would have to watch another guy (um, yeah, cause that’s the ONLY way it would even be remotely possible) pleasuring me.  I gave him all sorts of visuals, and didn’t hear anything about it for a while....but lately...we talk about it A LOT. 

Here’s the weird thing - he is okay with just about anything as long as he is there for it.  He considers oral sex to be similar to kissing - so not a big deal.  Um, wrong.  So basically as long as he is there and I want to makeout or blow or get blown, it’s okay.  He just wants to be able to see and approve of it and have the option of joining. 

I’m not convinced about all of this.  Maybe it’s because I’m a chick.  Maybe it’s because of our history (get the rundown here).  Either way, threesomes and groupies sound fun until you are in love with someone, then not so much.  He says its because its naughty...and that watching me be pleasured turns him on.  I just know it makes our sex life feel a little inadequate.  I get the whole naughty thing....but I also get the aftermath, the insecurities and the major issues it would most likely create.

I would really appreciate some feedback on this one.  Have you had a groupy?  How do you feel about it?  Any advice or input?  Am I just being a sensitive boob or is it actually a lot to take in?

#NaughtyMommy Happenings: Kids can be fun!

Sometimes having kids is a bummer.  They can be a major pain in the buns, and it is the most time consuming, stressful and thankless job on the planet.  Butttttttt, sometimes it is AWESOME!  Anika and I just had a little makeup session, and she did a pretty good job!  She's three...girls are fun!
